Clemson Composting has exciting news! The South Carolina Botanical Garden will be using our compost, starting today!
Thanks to Jeff’s awesome negotiating skills, the Botanical Garden crew came yesterday (Thursday, March 8) to pick up their first load. The compost will be used at the visitors center at the gardens and will have a small sign saying where the compost came from. This marks a significant milestone for the program as it will be the first time compost produced from food waste will be used on campus.
