Compost Delivered to the Student Organic Farm

Last Friday 59 cubic yards of compost was delivered to Clemson’s Organic Farm. This marks another important milestone for the composting program. With the compost being used at the Organic Farm, we are closing the loop and putting nutrients back into soil that will produce food for the community. According to the EPA, compost is valued between $15 and $32 per cubic yard, making our delivery worth between $885 and $1,888.

  1. Hi – I’m interested in using your image of compost to illustrate resource management in an online, non-commercial, educational design platform called the 2030 Palette. If you are interested, can you please contact me at images@2030palette.org.

    Thank you!
